Hundreds of refugees find their way to Ottawa each year, having been forced to leave their countries of origin.
Here at Shiloh Pelvic Physio we offer pelvic physiotherapy services to refugees under the Interim Federal Health Program with pelvic health physio.
How Does It work?
Shiloh Pelvic Physio provides physiotherapy through the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) which provides limited, temporary physiotherapy to resettled refugees, refugee claimants and certain other groups.
How it works:
You need a referral from a physician. We suggest you contact the Ottawa Newcomer Clinic:

Once you come with a referral, we will take the steps to obtain authorization. This may take a few weeks but we will let you know when you are approved. We take care of submitting the paperwork.
Refugee Services
We provide a variety of services but our main focus is:
- women seeking care during pregnancy and after birth
- women of any age with pelvic pain (secondary to trauma)
- children with bladder and bowel issues
