Children's Services

What does this look like?

I begin with a thorough interview to see what factors are affecting your child’s health because body, mind and spirit are interconnected. In our assessment I look at the child’s bladder and bowel routines, their body awareness, their diet and liquid intake, overall development as well as their stress and emotional regulation. Internal exams are not part of this assessment. I may observe the perineum (external genitalia) but this will not be on the first visit and only with parent and child’s consent.

What kind of treatments do you provide?

I provide personalized coaching to parents to help their kids in this journey. I also work directly with kids to help them to listen to their bodies and stop unwanted bladder and bowel leaks. My treatments are often done in partnership with one’s pediatrician. I desire to reduce stress for parents and help kids regain confidence in this sensitive area of their lives.
